Drought Horse

my son said mum you cant enter these in the art show people will think they are junk and silly, how funny was that I stood on my dig and said Im going to, you just wait and see people will love them.   And sure as apples they loved them all enough to buy them and  I won the sculpture prize too.  He couldnt beleive it and Ive been selling random little things like drought horse out of recycled steel and wood ever since.  I love the way a piece of junk can be transformed and given new life.   Drought horse was inspired by 5 years of drought when we moved to the country for the first time water was very short  we bought it buy the truck load at $90.00 which didnt last long in the country with 3 teenagers.
